Faith Under Fire, a new sermon series that focuses on The Ministry of Elijah. Today's sermon is based on 2 Kings 1:1-17 given by Rev. Dr. Mika Edmondson.
In 2 Kings 1:1–17, King Ahaziah rejects the Lord and seeks answers elsewhere, yet God's Word continues to pursue him in mercy, calling him to repentance through the prophet Elijah. As God faithfully protects Elijah from those sent to seize him, we see that God's Word protects those who trust and obey Him. In the end, God's Word prevails in victory as every prophecy is fulfilled, proving that God's authority and purposes cannot be overturned.
